There is a woman who sells cloths at her home. One day a woman comes to her home to buy cloths. She buys cloths worth Rs. 200/- and gives her a Rs. 500/- Note. As she does not have change therfore she sends her child to a nearby shop to get the change. The child returns with the change and she gives her the cloth along with Rs. 300/-. Soon after she has gone the shopkeeper of the nearby shop comes to her home and demands Rs. 500/- saying that the note which was give to him was not genuine. She somehow gives his Rs. 500/-
Now tell how much she loses ???

She loses Rs. 500/- overall.
1. She gives cloth worth Rs. 200/- along with Rs. 300/- and she keeps Rs. 200/- with her. At this stage She does not either gains or loses anything.
2. When the shopkeeper comes she gives Rs. 500/- to him , thats the real loss to her.

This is wrong as she loses even the clothes worth 200 so the total loss would be 700

ha ha ha ha.....exact answer is 1000 rs.... ohhh my god stop giving such bullshit answers eventhough the puzzle is soo simple...
initially she looses cloth of worth 200 + she gives 300 to her + she again has to give rs 500 to that shopkeeper... so totally 1000 rs loss
24its total of 800 rs.
to the woman = cloth worth 200+300
to the man = 500
she keeps = 200
so (200+300+500)-200=800
