Puzzle !!! Rope and Sea water .

There is a boat floating on the waves of the sea. A rope is hanging from the boat towards the sea water. The rope is 6 inches above the sea water. If the water is rising 1.5 inches per hour , how long will it take the water to touch the rope ??? ( time allowed to solve this puzzle is 10 seconds ).

Answer :

The water will never touch the rope because as the water will rise the boat will also rise.
