Blood Clots/Stroke SERIOUS BUSINESS NOW

Forward by Arun

Blood Clots/Stroke - They Now Have a Fourth Indicator, the Tongue.

STROKE: Remember The 1st Three Letters.... S...T..R.

My nurse friend sent this and encouraged me to post it and spread the word.
I agree.

If everyone can remember something this simple, we could save some folks.
Seriously..

Please read:

STROKE IDENTIFICATION:

During a BBQ, a friend stumbled and took a little f all - she assured everyone
that she was fine (they offered to call paramedics) .....she said she had
just tripped over a brick because of her new shoes.

They got her cleaned up and got her a new plate of food. While she appeared
a bit shaken up, Ingrid went about enjoying herself the rest of the evening

Ingrid's husband called later telling everyone that his wife had been taken
to the hospital - (at 6:00 pm Ingrid passed away.) She had suffered a stroke
at the BBQ. Had they known how to identify the signs of a stroke, perhaps
Ingrid would be with us today. Some don't die.... they end up in a helpless,
hopeless condition instead.

It only takes a minute to read this...

Letter to god

Forward by Arun

A little boy wanted Rs.50 very badly and prayed for weeks, but nothing happened.

Finally he decided to write God a letter requesting the Rs.50.

When the postal authorities received the letter addressed to God, INDIA, they decided to forward it to the President of the India as a joke.

The President was so amused, that he instructed his secretary to send the little boy Rs.20.

The President thought this would appear to be a lot of money (Rs.50) to a little boy, and he did not want to spoil the kid.

The little boy was delighted with Rs.20, and decided to write a thank you note to God, which read:

"Dear God: Thank you very much for sending the money..
However, I noticed that you sent it through the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi, and those donkeys deducted Rs.30 as tax ."

I wish you enough

Forward by Arun

At an airport I overheard a father and
daughter in their last moments
together. They had announced her
departure and standing near the
security gate, they hugged and he said,
"I love you, I wish you enough."

She in turn said, "Daddy, our life together
has been more than enough.
Your love is all I ever needed,
I wish you enough, too, Daddy."

They kissed and she left. He walked over
toward the window where I was
seated. Standing there I could see he
wanted and needed to cry. I tried not
to intrude on his privacy, but he welcomed
me in by asking, "Did you
ever say good-bye to someone
knowing it would be forever?"

"Yes, I have," I replied, "forgive me
for asking, but why is this a
forever good-bye?" I asked.

"I am old and she lives much too far away.
I have challenges ahead and
the reality is, the next trip back
would be for my funeral," he said.

"When you were saying good-bye I heard you
say, 'I wish you enough. "May
I ask what that means?"

He began to smile. "That's a wish that
has been handed down from other
generations. My parents used to say
it to everyone." He paused for a
moment and looking up as if trying to remember
it in detail, he smiled even more.

"When we said 'I wish you enough,' we
were wanting the other person to
have a life filled with just enough
good things to sustain them," he
continued and then turning toward me
he shared the following as if he were
reciting it from memory.

I wish you enough sun to keep your
attitude bright. I wish you enough
rain to appreciate the sun more. I
wish you enough happiness to keep your
spirit alive. I wish you enough pain
so that the smallest joys in life appear
much bigger. I wish you enough gain
to satisfy your wanting. I wish you
enough loss to appreciate all that you
possess. I wish enough "Hello's" to get
you through the final "Good-bye."

Tears filled his eyes and he walked away.

My friend, I wish you enough!
So my friends, I WISH YOU ENOUGH!!!!!

How to survive a heart attack when alone.

Forward by Arun

A cardiologist says If everyone who gets this mail sends it to 10 people, you can bet that we'll save at least one life.

Read this... It could save your life!! Let's say it's 6.15 pm and you're driving home (alone of course), after an unusually hard day on the job. You're really tired, upset and frustrated. Suddenly you start experiencing severe pain in your chest that starts to radiate out into your arm and up into your jaw. You are only about five miles from the hospital nearest your home. Unfortunately you don't know if you'll be able to make it that far. You have been trained in CPR, but the guy that taught the course did not tell you how to perform it on yourself.

HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE

Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack, without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness. However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest. A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again. Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can get to a hospital. Tell as many other people as possible about this. It could save their lives!!

Above may be a repeat message. Please do not mind, keeping in view its importance.

BE A FRIEND AND PLEASE SEND THIS ARTICLE TO AS MANY FRIENDS AS POSSIBLE

YOGA FOR MIGRAINE

Forward by Arun

Breathing exercises to strengthen the lungs and improve the oxygen levels in the body

All of you who suffer from migraines know how difficult it can be to deal with the same — they seem to l ast from a few hours to a few days! This is yet another disease that no-one really knows the root cause of. Yes, there are genetic factors but stress and anxiety, food allergies, sensitivity to sound or light, irregular meals, irregular sleep and lack of exercise are also contributing factors.

I am giving you a seven day programme that specially works on all the areas concerned with migraine and you must do these regularly to see an improvement in your condition.

Yoga gives great importance to breath, because how you breathe will affect the health of your body and the breath also links the body and the mind. Today we begin with breathing exercises that are a must for those who suffer from migraines. Not only do they strengthen the lungs and improve the oxygen levels in the body but also help to restore and gradually balance the flow of prana or vital energy to the brain and soothe and calm the nerves.

Caution: Those with cervical spondylosis, heart problems, high blood pressure and pregnant women should avoid these exercises.

EXERCISE 1
Sit back on your heels, place your palms on the knees, keep the back straight
Exhale forcefully and rapidly through the nose in quick succession, pulling the stomach in towards the spine as you exhale. Inhalation will be automatic and passive between every two exhalations
Practice 30-50 inhalations at a stretch
Repeat three times.

EXERCISE 2
Sit back on your heels,Bend your arms at the waist, the elbows close to the body and make fists Raise both fists up, a bit higher than the head, keep the elbows close to the body
Exhale forcefully through the mouth (the cheeks puffed out) as you pull the arms down, taking the elbows behind the waist
Repeat 20 times, exhalation should be rapid, movements smooth not jerky
Inhale deeply and slowly
Exhale slowly.

Nailed Mercedes

Forward by Arun

A full size Mercedes car is being nailed to the ceilings in one of Moscow airports now. It attracts sights from the people coming through the airport's lobby and always question arises if it's safe to walk right under in - or it might occasionally fall on your head? Well, some say that this is not real Mercedes but is made of plastic instead, but if it so then this should be a very precise copy, because all the smallest details, like brake discs etc are perfectly visible.

Wipro banned by world bank

Forward by Nisha

Post Satyam, now Wipro disclosed that it has been banned by World Bank until 2011 for offering IPO to world bank staff worth $72000 through its CIO for promoting Wipro Brand under DSP plan. The question why was this done through CIO and not through CEO. This is all for Wipro and its integrity. It happens to be an oil companies run by lala’s and will remain so. The second question is did Wipro did not do due deligence on impact of offering its IPO to World Bank Staffs. Something looks fishy here. Can Wipro diclose under whose guidance within Wipro was this done and what is this person’s current role in Wipro. The skeletons have started to come out from IT cupboards.

The media report says:

“There are currently three companies that (have) been debarred along with their affiliates under the Bank group’s corporate procurement program,” the bank said in a statement.

It said it had barred IT company Satyam Computer Services for eight years and Wipro Technologies for four years for “improper benefits to bank staff”.

The bank said it also barred India’s Megasoft Consultants for four years in December 2007 for “participating in a joint venture with bank staff while conducting business with the Bank”.
